Long before LIPOCENTRIC NUTRA was created, its founder was studying how biological systems function at the molecular level.

Ritu's scientific journey began with a fascination for understanding how life functions beyond what the eye can see.

Her work in biochemistry, molecular biology and structural biology focused on the molecular mechanisms that govern cellular function, protein behavior and biological regulation.

STUDYING MOLECULAR
ARCHITECTURE

Through research experiences associated with the University of Oxford, Tel Aviv University and the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), she gained exposure to advanced scientific approaches used to study biological systems at the molecular level.

Supported by the InStruct-ERIC Scholarship Program, she received specialized training in Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM), one of the world's most powerful technologies for visualizing biological structures at near-atomic resolution.

EXPLORING DISEASE
MECHANISMS

Her research included investigating disease-associated molecular pathways, including E3 ubiquitin ligases and protein regulatory systems involved in maintaining cellular homeostasis.

This work provided firsthand insight into how small molecular changes can influence biological outcomes across complex systems.

During our founder's research experience at Tel Aviv University, working alongside Gali Prag reinforced a critical lesson: To understand biological outcomes, one must first understand the molecular systems that drive them.

Her work in ubiquitin biology, protein regulation and cellular mechanisms highlighted how complex biological functions emerge through interconnected molecular pathways rather than isolated events.

During our founder's research experience at the University of Oxford, training in Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM) under the leadership of Juha Huiskonen provided exposure to one of the world's most advanced structural biology technologies.

Cryo-EM enables scientists to visualize biological structures at near-atomic resolution, revealing how molecular architecture influences biological function.

Today, that experience continues to influence how LIPOCENTRIC NUTRA evaluates advanced delivery technologies, including liposomes and next-generation nutrient delivery systems.
